We visited Memphis in May 2022 as part of our Southern Roadtrip to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary! We had less than 24 hours to explore but loved everything about the city and everywhere we went! We loved that Memphis was only about a 2-3 hour drive from Nashville.

WHERE TO STAY
● Hu. Hotel – we loved this hotel because it had a beautiful modern chic aesthetic, spacious rooms, a vibrant rooftop bar with beautiful views and was walking distance to Beale Street!

● Central BBQ for lunch
● Hu. Hotel Rooftop for sunset drinks
● The Lookout located at the top of the the Big Cypress Lodge/Bass Pro Shop Pyramid
THINGS TO DO
● Shop, dine and sightsee in downtown Beale Street
● Watch the infamous Duck March at 11am and 5pm at The Peabody Hotel
● Visit Graceland: tour Elvis Presely’s airplanes, house and more!
● Visit/Tour the iconic Sun Studio
● Visit the Lorraine Motel and the National Civil Rights Museum
● Visit the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid for an incredible combination of nature and retail
