We visited Atlanta in May 2022 as part of our Southern Roadtrip to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary! We drove to Atlanta from Memphis, TN and spent about 1.5 days exploring the city.

WHERE TO STAY
● AC Hotel Atlanta Buckhead – we loved this hotel because it is part of the Marriott AC Hotel Collection which always has clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. We also loved that the hotel had onsite parking and was close distance to many of the places that we visited.
WHERE TO EAT/DRINK
● Two Urban Licks for dinner and drinks
● Sweet Stack Creamery for ice cream donut sandwiches
● Pancake Social for brunch
● New Realm Brewing for craft beer
● Zocalo for mexican food
THINGS TO DO
● Walk around downtown Atlanta including Centennial Olympic Park
● See the city from above with riding Skyview Atlanta
● Take a tour of the World of Coca-Cola that includes history of the famous soda as well as trying samples from different products around the world!
● Visit the MLK Jr. National Historic Site
● Shop, dine, explore Ponce City Market
● Walk/run/bike along the Atlanta Beltline for fun outdoor adventure while stopping at many scenic spots and restaurants
● Visit the Atlanta Botantical Garden for a peaceful, beautiful and educational outdoor activity
● Stop at Jackson Street Bridge for a beautiful view of the city and photo
